HULL SMARTPHONE CUSTOM:

"A second screen for a single smartphone".

Who can live without a smartphone today? This increasingly growing market sees appearing multiple applications allowing the user to enjoy a lot of features

. The design and ergonomics of the smartphone are more than ever at the heart of concern for users. The hulls are diversifying, always offering more solidity and customization.

The E Ink display is surrounded by a shell of silicone or polyurethane (TPU). This material is non-slip and almost doesn't scratch. In addition, it is flexible and absorbs shocks very well.

The only drawback is that in the long term, the silicone can elongates, the hull will no longer fit perfectly to the shape of the phone.

We can also add a transparent film on the E Ink screen to minimize scratches.

The shell material is plastic or polycarbonate materials because these are cheaper and highly effective .

However, they are more susceptible to scratches ; we could then put the transparent plastic film on the entire hull.

To project an image on the hull, we need a technology to project a good image quality , on time and without using too much energy. So we were inspired by the Kindles , these electronic books using a type of display that perfectly suit

our project.

Finally we must integrate this screen in our hull (to be itself protected ). The priority remains the phone protection by the whole shell.

In addition, a cover which is aesthetic, we must take into account the design by adding a color field to meet the eye of the user.
